Christina Pham graduated in 2019 with a major in Microbiology, Immunology & Molecular Genetics. She joined Total Wellness as a writer in her freshman year and served as the Co-Public Outreach Director from 2018-2019.
Since graduating from UCLA, she has been working as a scientist at Thermo Fisher. In her spare time, she enjoys playing video games and board games.
College can be a very rewarding time, but sometimes it can seem like there is no time left to take care of yourself. Yes, grades are important and so is job-hunting. However, at the end of the day, your health should come first.
With final exams coming up, many of us are probably feeling stressed, frazzled, and even unmotivated. For me, coping with these negative emotions has always been a struggle, considering that I often resort to junk food as my source of comfort.
Health should always be our number one priority. But in college, when the busyness and craziness get in the way of life, our health and eating habits can take a backseat. So, how can we continue to eat healthy, even at a stereotypically unhealthy dining hall like Covel?
